The book is devoted to such interesting class of chemical compounds as metal chelate dendrimer, star and hyperbranched polymers. They are subdivided into molecular, intracomplex, and macrocyclic types which in turn are classified depending on the nature of the donor atoms. Special attention is paid to the synthetic methodologies of these compounds and their spatial organization. The main data on applications of the metal chelate dendritic polymers in catalysis, nanomedicine and functional and nanostructured materials are summarized. The problems and future prospects of metal chelate dendrimer, star and hyperbranched polymers are outlined.
